Anatomy for Injectors Faculty
Anatomy covering basic & Advanced education
READ MOREAnatomy for injectors is a program designed to educate practitioners on both basic and advanced techniques in terms of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
AFI’s experienced Faculty will cover both basic and advanced techniques through a combination of fresh cadaver dissections as well as live, hands-on demonstrations. This allows for in-depth, three-dimensional visualization and learning of facial anatomy, fascial relationships and its applications. Our goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve individual patient results with the understanding of the facial layers when using fillers and toxins. The 2024 AFI will also incorporate the use of ultrasound to allow for correlation between live anatomy and the dissection lab, offering an even more immersive, multi-dimensional learning experience.

READ MOREThe ARCTA: The Cosmetic Best Practice CHECKLIST
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) has introduced Guidelines for registered medical practitioners who perform cosmetic surgery and procedures (the Guidelines) which became effective on 1st July 2023. These new Guidelines will have a profound effect on the way cosmetic treatments are delivered to patients. The Guidelines are broad to encompass both clinical practice and advertising and marketing activities of a health service that is regulated by the National Law. It is therefore essential that all practitioners comply with the new regulations or risk disciplinary action and heavy financial penalties. In the interests of compliance and good clinical practice, it is important that your cosmetic practice be evidence based, focussed on patient safety and wellbeing and compliant with the AHPRA Guidelines.
